It's a rare sight, but the Philadelphia 76ers expect to have their "Big 3" of Joel Embiid, Paul George, and Tyrese Maxey all available on Friday night when they head to Little Caesars Arena as the four-point betting favorites to take on the Detroit Pistons.

Philadelphia 76ers vs. Detroit Pistons Expert Picks
Philadelphia 76ers ATS -4 (-110), ML (-178)
Philadelphia may never be truly healthy again, but those moments when its star-studded trio are all in the lineup need to be both cherished and capitalized on, especially with the team just a game out of the play-in tournament despite being 10 games under the .500 mark at 20-30. Detroit is also vying for better seeding, as well, and needs to get back on the winning path after losing two in a row and five of its last seven.
Home tends to be where the heart is, but in the case of the Pistons, with just a 3-5 record SU with four successful covers over their last eight outings in the Motor City, competing in its own backyard hasn't resulted in successful results as of late. It also won't help matters that the Sixers are 7-2 SU and 6-3 ATS in 2024-25 when favored away from the Wells Fargo Center.
The two sides have split their initial two meetings this season with the road team prevailing each time, although they haven't played each other since Nov. 30. Embiid was absent for both encounters, while George missed the first on Oct. 30 which ended in a 10-point loss for Philadelphia. Head coach Nick Nurse says they'll both be in uniform on Friday, and that should be the prevailing difference here.
At just 5-9 when a home underdog now taking on a team fully loaded with three All-Star caliber talents to try and fend off, and knowing that they've had a bottom-third defense allowing 117.4 points per 100 possessions since Jan. 25, Detroit's chances here appear rather bleak. The trade deadline acquisitions of both Dennis Schroder and Quentin Grimes are notable, but their respective statuses are unknown as of writing and neither player would likely make an enormous impact in their Pistons debut anyway.
OVER 224.5 Total Points (-110)
Having a full deck of cards to play with should obviously help Philadelphia's offense, and while the first two games did go UNDER, there were key bodies missing who would have accounted for a ton of points at the end of the day.
They've both reached OVER results more often than not, with the Sixers ranking seventh overall at 26-21-3 and 13-9-2 on the road.
Philadelphia 76ers vs. Detroit Pistons Player Prop
Joel Embiid OVER 13.5 Rebounds + Assists (-122)
He's only played 14 games this season, so there's not a great deal to work with here, but Embiid has still connected on an OVER with this combination prop in each of his last three appearances with his final number getting progressively higher each time.
The former league Most Valuable Player just notched a triple-double in his return against the Dallas Mavericks on Feb. 4, completing the line with 11 rebounds and 10 assists in 36 minutes of action.
Philadelphia 76ers vs. Detroit Pistons Betting Trends
- Paul George has exceeded 24.5 points + rebounds + assists in seven of his last nine games (28.6 points + rebounds + assists/game average).
- Tyrese Maxey has failed to exceed 3.5 3-pointers in seven of his last nine games on the road (3.2 3-pointers/game average).
- Ausar Thompson has exceeded 17.5 points + rebounds + assists in four of his last five games vs. bottom-10 defenses for assists allowed (18.4 points + rebounds + assists/game average).
