Doncic UNDER 29.5 Points (-114 at FanDuel)
Doncic has been on a roller coaster since donning the purple and gold. The star guard scored 14 points against the Jazz, 16 in the rematch, and another 14 in a narrow loss to the Hornets. But he truly dazzled with a 32-point explosion, leading the Lakers to snap the Nuggets' nine-game winning streak.
His 32 points against the Nuggets were nice, but that's not his guaranteed scoring output at this point in his Lakers career. As our Outlier trend notes, Doncic has gone UNDER 29.5 points in six of his last seven home games. Some of these contests came with Dallas, but Doncic has averaged just 14 points in Los Angeles. To me, this is an easy fade.
Lavine UNDER 2.5 3-PTs Made (+125 at bet365)
I noticed a few things working against LaVine. Firstly, as the trend picks up, he has gone UNDER this prop total in six of his last seven contests (only games he's played in 2024-25). LaVine's .264 3PT% is a startling career low for a historically accurate shooter.
To add another layer, the Hornets defend shooting guards better than any other team in the NBA. Charlotte yields just 20.14 PPG to SGs (best in the league) and allows only 3.05 made 3PTs (third-best) to two-guards. All the chips are in favor of my bet here, and bet365 offers it at plus money.
Thunder -12.5 (-110 at Bet365)
The Thunder have been a bettor's delight, covering the spread in 14 of their last 18 home games. With a season ATS record of 35-20-1, they're consistently outpacing expectations. The Thunder are now favored by 12.5 points against the T-Wolves tonight. With OKC's scoring at home (120.7 PPG, 4th-best) and Minnesota's injury struggles, the Thunder are poised to cover the spread once again.
