Bulls Have Won and Covered in 10 Straight vs Raptors

Since the infamous Rudy Gay trade of 2013 that changed the direction of the Toronto franchise, the Raptors have beaten a lot of teams. The Chicago Bulls are not one of them.

As the Eastern Conference foes prepare to renew acquaintances tonight at the United Center, the Raptors will be looking to snap a 10-game losing skid to their Windy City rivals. Toronto hasn't beaten Chicago since December 31, 2013 and the Bulls have covered the spread on every occasion since then.

At the time of writing, Sportsbook was dealing the Dinos as 7-point road favorites with a total of 205.

Bettors beware: it’s hard to trust either of these teams right now. Toronto is free-falling down the Eastern Conference standings, dropping 10 of its last 14 games. The Raps fell apart at both ends of the floor in the fourth quarter of Sunday’s 102-101 loss to the Detroit Pistons as the Pistons outscored them 36-19 in the final frame.

The Bulls have lost four of their past six, the last three all blowout losses. Chicago was without the services of Jimmy Butler, Dwyane Wade, Nikola Mirotic and Paul Zipser in an uninspiring 117-89 effort vs the Minnesota Timberwolves on Sunday.

Wade and Zipser are listed as doubtful against the Raptors, while all-star Jimmy Butler will be evaluated after the team’s morning shootaround and has a better chance to play. Mirotic did not participate in Monday’s practice.

Raptors have had no answer for the Bulls
