Los Angeles Lakers Vs. Sacramento Kings
The Game: Los Angeles Lakers vs. Sacramento Kings, 10 p.m. ET
Team | Spread | Money | Total |
---|---|---|---|
Los Angeles Lakers | -2 (-110) | -130 | O 238.5 (-110) |
Sacramento Kings | +2 (-110) | +110 | U 238.5 (-110) |
Pick: Sacramento Kings ML
The Sacramento Kings haven't swept a season series with the Los Angeles Lakers since the 2015-16 campaign, but are now one win away from doing so if they can defend home court at the Golden 1 Center on Wednesday.
Each of Sacramento's last two wins over its Pacific Division rival have come by an average margin of 12.5 points, including a 130-120 victory at Crypto.com Arena on March 6. None of its key players had to play a hefty amount of minutes on Tuesday after blowing out the visiting Milwaukee Bucks by 35 points, which bodes well for a team that's 5-5 this season on no rest.
The Lakers certainly need this game more, trailing the Kings by two games in the standings as the ninth seed in the Western Conference. It's just we haven't seen much of a reason to doubt Sacramento in this particular matchup.
Golden State Warriors Vs. Dallas Mavericks
The Game: Golden State Warriors vs. Dallas Mavericks, 8:30 p.m. ET
Team | Spread | Money | Total |
---|---|---|---|
Golden State Warriors | +7 (-112) | +220 | O 233 (-110) |
Dallas Mavericks | -7 (-108) | -270 | U 233 (-110) |
Pick: Dallas Mavericks ATS -7
The Stephen Curry-less Golden State Warriors just split two games with the San Antonio Spurs, winning by double digits on the road after falling by double digits at home. The Dallas Mavericks, meanwhile, have strung together three consecutive wins after dropping three-straight games.
They've covered the spread with a respectable 11-5 record over their last 16 outings, but Golden State has been slightly better in that regard at 13-5 over its last 18 games.
Dallas has beaten the Warriors by 10 already this season to close out 2023, and that was with Curry active and dropping 25 points. Each of the Mavericks' last two wins have covered the seven-point spread set forth for Wednesday, so expect that trend to continue for at least one more night.
Toronto Raptors Vs. Detroit Pistons
The Game: Toronto Raptors vs. Detroit Pistons, 7 p.m. ET
Team | Spread | Money | Total |
---|---|---|---|
Toronto Raptors | +3.5 (-110) | +136 | O 233 (-110) |
Detroit Pistons | -3.5 (-110) | -162 | U 233 (-110) |
Pick: UNDER 233 Total Points
The name of the game for the remainder of the season for the Toronto Raptors is getting the most out of less, and that's because so many key players are missing time due to a litany of reasons.
They'll be without RJ Barrett because of a personal matter against the Detroit Pistons at Little Caesars Arena. We've likely seen the last of Scottie Barnes (hand), Jakob Poeltl (finger), and Chris Boucher (knee), while Immanuel Quickley is questionable as well because of a bad hip.
Each of the previous two meetings far exceeded the 233-point total, but that was a different time with different players in the fold. It's a high number to surpass yet again, so with the Pistons having also gone UNDER in 10 of their last 13 games, let's take the UNDER on Wednesday.
