For all NBA games scheduled for Thursday, March 7, 2024, here are three spread, moneyline, and OVER/UNDER you need to strongly consider making:
Jump To Picks:
Recent Picks: March 6, 2024 (1-2)
Game | Bet | Result | W or L | Units |
---|---|---|---|---|
Sacramento Kings vs. Los Angeles Lakers | Kings ML | 130-120 Kings | W | 1.2 |
Los Angeles Clippers vs. Houston Rockets | Clippers ATS -6.5 | 122-116 Clippers | L | -1 |
Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Atlanta Hawks | OVER 214.5 Total Points | 213 Total Points | L | -1 |
Overall | 1-2 | -0.8 |
You've got to be kidding me. The spread bet came up one point short, and the OVER/UNDER fell under by 1.5 points. Ridiculous.
Season Picks: Since Jan. 8, 2024
Market | Record | Units |

Moneyline | 9-17 | -8.81 |
Spread | 13-15 | -2.85 |
OVER/UNDER | 13-14 | -2.11 |

Miami Heat Vs. Dallas Mavericks
The Game: Miami Heat vs. Dallas Mavericks, 7:30 p.m. ET
Team | Spread | Money | Total |
---|---|---|---|
Miami Heat | +5 (-112) | +168 | O 229 (-112) |
Dallas Mavericks | -5 (-108) | -200 | U 229 (-108) |
Pick: Miami Heat ATS +5
Since losing seven games in a row from Jan. 17-29, the Miami Heat have been one of the Association's strongest teams with an 11-3 record and seven wins in their last eight games. This comes with Tyler Herro having missed the last five games with a knee injury, as well.
They're getting the Dallas Mavericks at an opportune time, as the Mavericks have dropped three in a row SU and five of six, including a blowout loss to the Indiana Pacers on Tuesday despite yet another 30-point triple-double from Luka Doncic.
Miami has covered the spread with a 9-2 record in its last 11 games, while Dallas has done so just twice in its last six outings. Even sans Herro, the Heat are on one trajectory while the Mavericks are on another, so despite being the underdogs on the road, history suggests Miami is the correct play here.
Minnesota Timberwolves Vs. Indiana Pacers
The Game: Minnesota Timberwolves vs. Indiana Pacers, 7 p.m. ET
Team | Spread | Money | Total |
---|---|---|---|
Minnesota Timberwolves | +2 (-114) | +104 | O 228 (-110) |
Indiana Pacers | -2 (-106) | -122 | U 228 (-110) |
Pick: Minnesota Timberwolves ML
News of Karl-Anthony Towns being ruled out indefinitely with a torn meniscus in his left knee is earth-shattering to the Minnesota Timberwolves, who are currently tied for the lead in the Western Conference but only 2.5-games ahead of the fourth seed.
Towns had missed only two games all season with Minnesota prevailing in both, but an extended absence is far different than just a game off here and there.
Oddsmakers have this game against Indiana being much closer than some may have projected, which is a testament to the Timberwolves' depth and defense. The latter is the key here, so look for Minnesota to pick up the slight upset on the road, making a statement that it's still a team to be reckoned with.
San Antonio Spurs Vs. Sacramento Kings
The Game: San Antonio Spurs vs. Sacramento Kings, 10 p.m. ET
Team | Spread | Money | Total |
---|---|---|---|
San Antonio Spurs | +11 (-110) | +410 | O 237 (-112) |
Sacramento Kings | -11 (-110) | -550 | U 237 (-108) |
Pick: UNDER 237 Total Points
No Victor Wembanyama makes it hard to take the OVER, especially considering the San Antonio Spurs have gone UNDER in four of their last five games with the Frenchman available.
Wembanyama will miss his seventh game of his rookie season against the Sacramento Kings due to a sprained right ankle. San Antonio averages 118 points when the 7-foot-4 giant is unavailable, but in general, the team's 25th-ranked offense over the last 13 games at 108.8 points per 100 possessions paints the greater picture.
Sacramento is also on the second night of a back-to-back slate, as well. There's enough here to like the UNDER a heck of a lot more.
