Warriors Escape Philly, Now Visit Knicks

The Golden State Warriors escaped what would have been a humiliating loss when Harrison Barnes nailed a corner three-pointer to prevail 108-105 at the Philadelphia 76ers Saturday afternoon. Now the Warriors head to New York to visit a Knicks team that snapped a four-game losing streak with an 18-point victory over the Phoenix Suns in their last game.

Shark Bites
  • The Warriors are 11-2 ATS in their last 13 games after an ATS defeat.
  • The Warriors are 1-4-1 ATS in their last six games versus the Atlantic Division.
  • UNDER is 4-1 in the Knicks’ last five games.

The Warriors, currently 10-point road faves at online shop Sportsbook, were able to extend their winning streak to six games (4-2 ATS) thanks to Barnes’ heroics, but didn’t come close to the 17-point spread they were favored by when lines closed. Golden State visits Madison Square Garden for the second of its three-game road trip and has proven profitable away from home, going 15-8-2 ATS on the road this season.

At 29-20 ATS (23-26 SU) on the season, the Knicks have been one of the best teams at the sportsbook to date. The aforementioned four-game skid has dropped them to ninth in the Eastern Conference, but had no issues in their blowout win over the hapless Suns Friday.

The Knicks have covered the number in three straight games heading into this one, but look for Steph Curry and Co. to come out and try to make a statement at The World’s Most Famous Arena after their near stumble at Philly.
