Same-Game Parlay: Knicks vs Pacers Game 4
Team | Spread | Money | Total |
---|---|---|---|
New York Knicks | +6 (-112) | +194 | O 218 (-110) |
Indiana Pacers | -6 (-108) | -235 | U 218 (-110) |
Nick Holz's Pick: Isaiah Hartenstein UNDER 20.5 Points & Rebounds (-113)
Other than an offensive explosion in Game 2, Hartenstein has struggled to establish himself in the postseason. He's averaged just over 18 points and rebounds over his last 10 games, while hitting 21 or more just four times. He's also been far less effective away from home, posting an average of just over 17 points and rebounds on the road in that same span.
Myles Turner had a huge night in Game 3, and I like that to continue in this series fourth iteration. With Mitchell Robinson out for the season, the Knicks need Hartenstein to protect the basket on defense. Expect his production to falter as a result.
Christopher Walder's Pick: New York Knicks ATS +6 (-108)
A part of me wanted to run with an OVER/UNDER pick here, despite coming up short with that bet in Game 3. I'm hesitant to run that angle again regardless because of the earlier start, injuries still keeping prominent members of both rosters out, and the superstars who are competing dealing with aches and pains themselves.
Two of the three games in this series have been decided by five or fewer points, so the margin for error is slim to none. New York has also successfully covered twice in the last two games, as well, and as we've seen time and time again, despite having limited depth to work with, the Knicks continue to fight and overcome the odds with the pieces they have.
David Caraviello's Pick: New York Knicks ATS +6 (-108)
Game 3 of this series in Indianapolis was just what we expected, even with the Knicks depleted due to injuries and needing to rely on some unlikely players (hello, Alec Burks!) at certain times. Jalen Brunson was fantastic again, the Pacers were great from the perimeter again, and the result was a cover for New York and a victory for the home team. As beat up as they are, New York still had a chance to win it at the end. Why would we expect anything else in Game 4 on Sunday?

Denver Nuggets vs Minnesota Timberwolves Game 4 Preview & Picks
Matchup Page: Denver Nuggets vs Minnesota Timberwolves, 8 p.m. ET
Team | Spread | Money | Total |
---|---|---|---|
Denver Nuggets | +3 (-110) | +126 | O 204.5 (-110) |
Minnesota Timberwolves | -3 (-110) | -148 | U 204.5 (-110) |
Nick Holz's Pick: Denver Nuggets ATS +3 (-110)
Following their blowout victory in a must-win Game 3, the Nuggets will be full of confidence. The betting trends back them to have another strong performance in Game 4.
In the last 18 instances in the second round of the NBA playoffs, Game 3 winners are 13-5 ATS in Game 4. Further to that point, teams who are ahead in second round series are just 11-21-1 ATS in their last 33 Game 4 matchups.
Strong execution from the Nuggets supporting cast (Aaron Gordon, Michael Porter Jr., and Justin Holiday combined to go 9-of-12 from downtown), was a huge factor in Game 3. Denver has covered the spread in four of their last six games as underdogs in Minnesota. Ride with the defending champs to cover the spread yet again in Game 4.
Christopher Walder's Pick: Denver Nuggets ML (+126)
Denver's Game 3 performance quieted a lot of naysayers and doubters after getting walloped twice on its home floor to open the series. It was a gentle reminder that the championship still goes through the Mile High City until further notice, and when you're getting +126 odds for a team that just won by 27 points against an elite defense, you need to jump on that and make bank.
As Nick pointed out, victors in Game 3 of the second round are spread monsters in Game 4, but with the spread being as tight as it is for Sunday with the Nuggets entering as three-point underdogs, it makes sense to go moneyline because there's far more upside. The last two outings have been blowouts, so we're likely to see a knockout result in which one side laps the other leaving no uncertainty.
David Caraviello's Pick: Minnesota Timberwolves ATS -3 (-110)
What the heck was that, T-Wolves? In one of the more stunning results in these playoffs so far, the aggressive, defensive, relentless Timberwolves were completely dismantled by the Nuggets in their worst home loss of the year. Jamal Murray and Nikola Jokic looked like their old selves, and Minnesota looked like a young team playing at this level for the first time. Was it a fluke? We’ll give the T-Wolves one more chance at home Sunday, but the Nuggets are already looking like the natural play in Game 5 back in the Mile High City.
