LeBron, Wade Favored to Re-sign with Teams

For all the hype that has enveloped the 2010 NBA free agency for years, odds are that two of the biggest names will stay with their current teams. LeBron James has hinted broadly that he would consider leaving Ohio this summer, but oddsmakers at Sportsbook don't believe he will. Sportsbook lists LBJ as 1/3 favorite to stay in Cleveland, despite rumored mega-offers from New York and other teams.[ Click here to visit Sportsbook ]

The woeful Knicks, who successfully cleared enough salary cap space for two maximum deals, are the favorite among new destinations. New York is listed at 3/1 odds. Neighboring New Jersey could also make a play (10/1) but would James leave Cleveland for Newark? The longshot choice is not even an NBA team. Euroleague stalwart Olympiakos S.F.P. of Greece is a 100/1 longshot. The staying-put odds are just as short for Miami Dwyane Wade. The playoff MVP for a few years ago may have played his last game for the Heat, but Sportsbook figures he will stay in south Florida. D-Wade is -275 to stay with the Heat, while Chicago at +260 is the best odds among teams he might sign with. New York is also in play for Wade at +1000, although signing Chris Bosh or Amare Stoudemire should be higher on the team's shopping list.
