Jrue Holiday Has Been Key To Milwaukee’s Success

Giannis Antetokounmpo joined Wilt Chamberlain and Shaquille O’Neal as the third player in NBA history to record 40 points, 20 rebounds and five assists in a single game on Friday against the Celtics.

Antetokounmpo finished the game with 44 points, 20 rebounds and six assists, but despite his incredible game the Bucks still suffered a 108-95 loss at home. Milwaukee was a 1.5-point favorite in Game 6 and fell to 2-3 SU and 1-4 ATS over its last five games with the loss.

Jrue Holiday went only 3-for-10 from three-point range and scored 17 points on Friday. Holiday has scored at least 24 points in all three of Milwaukee’s wins in this series and has been held to 19 points or less in the team’s three losses.

With Khris Middleton out due to a knee injury, the pressure is on Holiday to produce offense in support of Antetokounmpo.

Jayson Tatum Has Been Red Hot Since Game 4

Jayson Tatum went 17-for-32 from the floor and 7-for-15 from three-point range in Friday’s win, extending the series with an outstanding 46-point performance.

After getting off to a relatively slow start to the series averaging 20 points per game through Boston’s first three games against Milwaukee, Tatum has racked up 36.7 points per game over the team’s last three games.

While Tatum’s performance dominated the headlines in Game 6, the Celtics also deserve a lot of credit for holding Milwaukee to only 95 points on the Bucks’ home court.

Bettors taking Boston as their Bucks vs Celtics prediction in Game 7 will be looking for a similar game script on Sunday with Tatum carrying the offense and the defense shutting down Antetokounmpo’s supporting cast.

Bucks vs Celtics Pick & Insights

Bucks: Keys to Cover

Giannis Antetokounmpo will almost certainly have a monster game with Milwaukee’s season on the line in Game 7. The key to a cover or a Bucks vs Celtics upset win will come down to how much offense Jrue Holiday and the rest of the team can produce in keeping up with Jayson Tatum and the Celtics.

Celtics: Keys to Cover

Boston has flipped the script in this series with its recent uptick on offense, averaging 110.3 points per game over its last three games after averaging 99.7 PPG in the first three games of this series.

The Celtics have been playing well defensively throughout the entire series, so keeping things rolling of offense is the key to cashing in as a Bucks vs Celtics pick.
