Denver is a decent team on the boards, but the Knicks are far from decent with a rebounding differential of -4.8 rpg. Luckily for the Knicks they will not be facing the Nuggets’ leading rebounder, as Kenyon Martin (9.6 rpg) is out for tonight’s game.

New York will have to put up a ton of points tonight to win since their defense is so weak. However, if the Knicks can slow the pace of the game and make this a half court contest they have a shot at the win.

Carmelo Anthony dropped 50 on the Knicks this season in a home win in Denver and he has torched the Knicks in New York averaging 31.3 ppg on 53.9% shooting in his last four games at Madison Square Garden.

Wednesday NBA Odds Preview

Orlando Magic at Atlanta Hawks

The Magic have won three straight and are 9-1 in their last 10 games and it looks as if they will get the second seed in the Eastern Conference. The Hawks are coming off a loss and are tied with the Boston Celtics for third in the East. Atlanta would love to finish ahead of Boston, as the third seed would avoid playing Cleveland in the second round of the playoffs.

L.A. Lakers at San Antonio Spurs

The Lakers have won six straight and unless they implode they will be the top seed in the West in the post-season. The Spurs are tied for the sixth spot in the West only leading eighth place Portland by one game. They only trail fourth place Utah by three games and if they finish the season on fire they may host a first round playoff series.

Thursday NBA Point Spreads

Miami Heat at Chicago Bulls
