Can The Warriors Capture Their Fourth Title In Eight Years?

Longtime fans of the NBA may be starting to experience deja vu as the Golden State Warriors have once again fought their way back into the NBA Finals.

Behind their championship-winning core of Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green, as well as the emergence of Jordan Poole, Steve Kerr’s Warriors have been an absolute force of nature in the 2022 NBA playoffs.

With their longest series played in this year’s tournament going six games against the Memphis Grizzlies, the Warriors have demonstrated once again why they are one of the greatest NBA dynasties to ever set foot on the hardwood.

After coming off a tough loss in the NBA Finals to the Toronto Raptors in 2019, the Warriors are poised and prepared to shoot, dunk and dime their way back to the top of the mountain and reclaim the title they feel is rightfully theirs.

In terms of NBA Finals betting, the Warriors enter as strong betting favorites at -190, a situation they’ve found themselves in for all six NBA Finals they have been a part of since winning the NBA title in 2015. The Warriors are a safe bet for all NBA bettors and could well be on their way to franchise championship No. 7.

Can Jayson Tatum Power The Celtics To Championship Glory?

Going through a murderers’ row of talent in the East playoff bracket, the Celtics demonstrated they are legitimate title contenders. They started off with a sweep of Kyrie Irving, Kevin Durant and the Brooklyn Nets, followed up with a thriller against the defending NBA champion Milwaukee Bucks and finished off their run to the Finals with a nail-biter Game 7 in which they defeated the top-seeded Miami Heat.

Throughout this playoff run, the Celtics have used tremendous team defense to stay within striking distance of their opponents when trailing, while suffocating them when in control of the scoreboard. Led by Defensive Player of the Year Marcus Smart and All-NBA defensive team member Robert Williams III, the Celtics can be a nightmare come true for even the top offenses in the NBA.

While the defense is a large part of the success they have experienced in the playoffs, Jayson Tatum has truly emerged as a superstar for Boston. Tatum has averaged 27.0 points, 5.9 assists and 6.7 rebounds per game, all while still being a dominant force defensively. His fingerprints are all over the Celtics’ path to the Finals this season.

Coming off winning the inaugural Larry Bird Eastern Conference MVP award, Tatum will look to continue his phenomenal postseason and hope it leads to his first NBA championship, which would be a record-setting 18th Larry O’Brien Trophy win for Boston, and perhaps even a Finals MVP award to add to his trophy case.

If Tatum is going to be successful, his supporting cast has to show up behind him. With Jaylen Brown having an all-star caliber season and with the resurgent play of Al Horford, the Celtics and Tatum may have what it takes to slay the giants that are the Golden State Warriors and leave their mark etched in NBA history.

Sportsbook as underdogs with terrific value at +280 according to the NBA series prices, the Celtics are a great look for all NBA Finals betting enthusiasts looking to break the bank at their favorite NBA betting site. Behind Tatum, look for the hard-nosed Celtics to give you terrific value for any NBA championship wagers on the C’s.
