LeBron James is favored to win NBA Finals MVP, yet the San Antonio Spurs are favored to win the series.
That is one of many interesting NBA Finals props announced Tuesday by sportsbook Sportsbook. LeBron is 6/5 to win the MVP, ahead of co-second favorites Tim Duncan and Tony Parker of the Spurs at 5/2.
James’ main sidekicks – Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh – are 8/1 and 16/1 respectively.
The most likely series outcome is a Spurs win in seven games, according to the odds. That outcome would pay +350 (bet $100, profit $350) while the Miami Heat winning in seven is next at +500.
If you like betting on player props, the over-under on LeBron’s scoring exploits was set at 28.5 points per game. There is also a 2/1 bet on whether James will record a triple-double during the series.
A batch of interesting cross-sport props merges the NBA Finals, the Stanley Cup final, and the Belmont Stakes. The wagers involve picking all three title holders (among the New York Rangers, Los Angeles Kings, Spurs, Heat, and California Chrome).
