NBA Free Agency Moves

The rebuilding of the Miami Heat continues, but they're not the only team making moves that could help crown next year's NBA champion.

Miami has filled in a lot of the gaps around their big three of Dwyane Wade, LeBron James, and Chris Bosh. Their roster has plenty of big men already with Udonis Haslem, Zydrunas Ilgauskas, and Joel Anthony joining Bosh up front. Jamaal Magloire is also expected to join that group sometime this week.

Mike Miller will be the Heat's big three-point threat, while other names reportedly in the running for a spot on the Heat's juggernaut include Juwan Howard, Carlos Arroyo, and Rasual Butler. The Heat's free agency rebuilding project has quickly bumped them up to the top of the odds list at every sportsbook out there. At Sportsbook.ag they're currently listed at +180 to bring a championship to South Beach.

The new-look Heat haven't won anything yet, though, and they haven't even played a single game with their new all-powerful lineup.

The Lakers are still the defending champs, and with a lineup that includes Kobe Bryant, Pau Gasol, Ron Artest, and hopefully a healthy Andrew Bynum, they might be the smarter bet right now at +300 at Sportsbook.ag. If you're looking for true value the best bet right now at Sportsbook.ag might be the

Chicago Bulls at +2000. Chicago may have missed out on LeBron, Wade, and Bosh, but they haven't remained silent during free agency. So far the Bulls have opened up their wallets to snag Carlos Boozer, Ronnie Brewer, and Kyle Korver. Add those three to a lineup that already included Joakim Noah, Taj Gibson, Luol Deng, and Derrick Rose, and the Bulls should be a contender in the East next season. Don't forget about the

Orlando Magic either; the oddsmakers at Sportsbook.ag currently have them down at +800. The Magic bolstered their perimeter shooting by signing Quentin Richardson and re-signing J.J. Redick.

Dwight Howard provides a mismatch against whoever Orlando plays, while Vince Carter, Jameer Nelson, and Rashard Lewis will make this year's battle of Florida between Orlando and Miami very interesting to watch.
