There’s only one game in the NBA tonight. Which is OK. We’ll just have to go ahead and pick the Sportsbook for that one.
Which is what I do in the writeup below and Ninja and I break the game down more closely in the video above. We also give our picks for some props for The Players, since that starts tomorrow.
Here’s a look at my playoff record heading into tonight:
Now 20-18-1 in the NHL. I’m up $100 (based on $100/gm bets)
Now 21-18 ATS in the NBA. I’m 9-2 ATS in my last 11 ATS picks.
NBA:
Sixers at Celtics -1, 204.5
Teams that have led 3-0 in an NBA series are 127-0 all-time in the NBA playoffs. And yet, the Sixers are only +335 to come back and win this series after sitting at +600 before Game 4.
Scottie Pippen, Brett Brown and many others feel this could be the year that a team finally breaks that trend.
Over the last three games, the Celtics have shot just 33 percent (including 9-for-29 from three-point range) in the last six seconds of the shot clock. I don’t like that they’ve also shot 34 percent or worse from three-point range each of the last two games. No surprise that both games played UNDER.
Underdogs are now 13-5 against the spread over the last 18 NBA games. I’m going with the dog again tonight. I think this series gets a whole lot more interesting.
Pick: Sixers +1
