The NBA schedule has all but two teams across the league competing on Wednesday, November 27 due to American Thanksgiving the following day, so the options for player prop wagers with 14 games taking place are plentiful.
Here are three player prop bets to consider betting on with so many options at your disposal, including Cleveland Cavaliers All-Star Donovan Mitchell possessing tremendous value on a 3-pointers made prop (-102) against the Atlanta Hawks.
Donovan Mitchell OVER 3.5 Made 3-Pointers vs. Hawks (-102)
Preview: Atlanta Hawks vs. Cleveland Cavaliers, 7 p.m. ET
Teams are likely circling dates with the Hawks on their calendars as potential practice sessions for their outside shooting, as Atlanta is far and away the worst team defending the 3-point line in basketball.
The Hawks rank dead last in opponent's 3-pointers made (16.7), attempted (41.7), and efficiency (39.9 percent), with at least one player having drilled four or more triples against them in seven-straight outings. Mitchell should be the next player in line to hit that mark, as he currently leads the Cavaliers in both makes (3.6) and attempts (8.9) from the perimeter.
Mitchell has converted four or more treys in five of his last seven games, as well. Until Atlanta starts showing some degree of competency guarding outside shooters, it will benefit bettors to fade them and ride the hot hand of opposing snipers.
Davion Mitchell UNDER 13.5 Points + Assists vs. Pelicans (-104)
Preview: Toronto Raptors vs. New Orleans Pelicans, 8 p.m. ET
Davion Mitchell has been the beneficiary of added playing time as Immanuel Quickley continues his recovery from a partial tear in his left elbow, but that hasn't led to noteworthy box scores from the 26-year-old point guard.
With Scottie Barnes now back in the fold, along with the continued emergence of RJ Barrett as a Most Improved Player candidate, Mitchell has struggled to produce memorable lines of points and assists as he's not one of the top options whenever he's on the floor. Mitchell has finished UNDER 13.5 combined points and dimes in three-straight appearances and seven of his last nine games, and considering that the Toronto Raptors are winless on the road this season, it's hard to imagine that streak of futility coming to an end from both Mitchell and the team as a whole.
The New Orleans Pelicans are expecting Dejounte Murray back in the lineup following a left hand fracture, and that's an elite defender returning to action who will surely be putting in the work against Mitchell in a battle of duelling guards.
Stephon Castle OVER 13.5 Points vs. Lakers (-104)
Preview: Los Angeles Lakers vs. San Antonio Spurs, 8:30 p.m. ET
Stephon Castle just matched his career-high in points on Tuesday in a 13-point win over the Utah Jazz, scoring 23 points on 9-of-20 shooting and 3-of-8 from distance. It was the third time the San Antonio Spurs rookie has dropped 20 or more points in a game this season, and the sixth time he's reached an over on 13.5 points.
He scored 22 points against the Los Angeles Lakers earlier in the season at the Frost Bank Center, and has gone OVER 13.5 points in three-straight games. There's a lot to like here with Castle's scoring prop, and the Lakers' defense sits third from the bottom over the last five games, allowing just under 120 points per 100 possessions.
