NBA Player Props Today: Ride the KD Dime Train

NBA player props give us a plethora of possibilities with a full slate of games on Sunday, February 23. With 10 games on the board, there's plenty of basketball to keep fans, and bettors engaged.

I've sifted through the odds board to find three NBA player prop value plays, featuring Kevin Durant, Davion Mitchell and Max Christie:

Davion Mitchell OVER 3.5 Assists -125

Defensive dynamo Davion Mitchell has been a lively addition to the Miami Heat since his trade deadline move. In fact, he's averaged 9.8 points and three assists per game on 40% shooting from three as a member of the Heat.

Mitchell has slotted into the Heat's starting lineup, and has a ton of momentum after dropping 16 points against the Raptors on Friday night. While he's not known for dishing the rock, Mitchell has cleared his 3.5 assist line in seven of his past 10 games, while averaging 4.3 helpers per contest. Crucially, he's averaged a staggering 9.7 potential assists per game over his past 10.

Back Mitchell to clear 3.5 assists again tonight.

Max Christie OVER 1.5 Three-Pointers -111

Max Christie has burst onto the scene in Dallas, and is doing his darndest to fill in for the offensive skills of Luka Doncic. The Mavericks lack creators on offense and with so many injuries, Christie has been given the green light.

The former Michigan State Spartan is knocking down an average 2.4 three pointers a night on a ridiculous 47% shooting from deep in Dallas. He launched 11 threes against Miami last week, and has attempted an average of 5.1 threes as a Maverick so far.

Expect Christie to go to work against a Golden State squad that lacks perimeter defenders.

Kevin Durant OVER 3.5 Assists -118

The Durantula has taken center stage in the NBA world after starring in Netlfix's "Court of Gold" Olympic documentary. While he's been quick to brush off reports of melancholy in the Suns' locker room, basketball hasn't been great in Phoenix this season.

Regardless, Durant has been dishing the rock, averaging 4.6 assists across his last 10 games. With shooters all around him, in Devin Booker, Bradley Beal, Grayson Allen, Tyus Jones and the reborn Royce O'Neale, KD is a great bet to exceed 3.5 assists in Toronto tonight. After all, the Suns are knocking down 37% of attempts from deep, and shooting 55% from two-point range, and the Raptors rank in the bottom third defensively in opponent field-goal percentage.

The "Slim Reaper" has averaged 8.1 potential assists across his last five games. Bet on Durant to surpass 3.5 assists in what should be a Suns victory in Toronto.
