A VOID and late beat marred what was an otherwise successful 2-1 record in the NBA player props market for Wednesday's slate, and with just five games on the schedule tonight, the goal remains the same: Boost units and pick more props correctly than the alternative.
Here are three expert player prop picks to potentially boost your bankrolls on January 30, 2025, including LeBron James possibly repeating his numbers from a little over a week ago against a Washington Wizards team in the midst of a downward spiral.
LeBron James To Record A Triple-Double vs. Wizards (+270)
Preview: Los Angeles Lakers vs. Washington Wizards, 7 p.m. ET
The Los Angeles Lakers will be without the services of superstar forward Anthony Davis for at least a week due to an abdominal muscle strain, and with the team's depth already a giant question mark most nights, James will be tasked with keeping the ship afloat until his teammate returns to action. Thankfully, a matchup with the Wizards comes at the perfect time, as Washington has dropped 15 games in a row with a league-worst offense and defense to top it all off.
James registered a triple-double at home on Jan. 21 against the visiting Wizards, finishing with 21 points, 10 rebounds, and 13 assists in 35 minutes of action with Davis active. It was his first triple-double since right before Christmas Day and his ninth of the season.
Washington is also competing on the second night of a back to back after getting blown out by the Toronto Raptors on Wednesday. The plus money is screaming a bet for James against one of the worst squads we've all had the misfortune of having to watch.
Vit Krejci OVER 9.5 Points vs. Cavaliers (-113)
Preview: Atlanta Hawks vs. Cleveland Cavaliers, 7 p.m. ET
An unfortunate season-ending injury to Jalen Johnson as he undergoes shoulder surgery means more of an offensive role for Vit Krejci in the Atlanta Hawks' starting lineup.
He's attempted double-digit shots in three of his last four games and averaged 12.5 points during that span. Of his 43 shot attempts, 32 have come from behind the arc, so Krejci is incredibly reliant on his outside marksmanship to accumulate points.
He's taken 10 or more 3-point shots in two of his last three appearances, and that's a sound formula to register at least 10 points versus the Cleveland Cavaliers on Thursday as they allow opponents to shoot 37 percent from behind the arc (24th).
Isaiah Collier OVER 14.5 Points + Assists vs. Timberwolves (-125)
Preview: Minnesota Timberwolves vs. Utah Jazz, 9 p.m. ET
The Isaiah Collier experience continues in Salt Lake City with the rookie point guard having started 10 of his past 12 appearances for the Utah Jazz while averaging 10 points and 8.2 assists during that span.
He'll need a combination of at least 15 against the Minnesota Timberwolves, which is a number Collier has toppled in seven of his last eight games and eight of his last 10.
Minnesota may be a touch fatigued after playing on Wednesday in a 121-113 win over the Phoenix Suns, and that could serve Collier well here to connect on yet another OVER in this market.
