NBA Summer League 2024 Same-Game Parlay: Hawks vs. Wizards

Friday, June 12 marks the opening day of the NBA's Las Vegas Summer League, and we've got a same-game parlay assembled for a highly-anticipated matchup featuring the top two picks from this summer's draft.

Zaccharie Risacher and the Atlanta Hawks are scheduled to square off with Alexandre Sarr and the Washington Wizards at the Thomas and Mack Center at 9:30 p.m. ET.

Here's a look at all of the legs for this same-game parlay which will hopefully lead to positive gains for all who follow.

Same-Game Parlay Leg No. 1: Washington Wizards ML

The Wizards are the more loaded roster with not just Sarr at the helm, but fellow first-round selections Bub Carrington (No. 14) and Kyshawn George (No. 24), as well.

We have yet to see this unit take the floor together as Washington wasn't a part of the California Classic or Salt Lake City Summer League, but just comparing roster to roster, the nation's capital is represented with more youth and upside than that of the Hawks.

Atlanta guard Kobe Bufkin was supposed to be one of the primary scoring options for his side, but he's now out for the entire competition after suffering a shoulder injury during practice on Tuesday. On paper, especially after said injury, this is truly the Wizards' to lose.

Same-Game Parlay Leg No. 2: Zaccharie Risacher To Score 15+ Points

A lot will be asked of Risacher to lead the way in Sin City sans Bufkin by his side, but there's always going to be a ton of pressure for any player selected first overall in their class.

Risacher wasn't a prolific scorer internationally, only averaging 10.1 points per game across 32 appearances during his final year in the LNB Pro A with JL Bourg. The issue here is that the odds aren't really worth it in the scoring department for any less than a 15-point performance on Friday, which he's certainly capable of doing, but there's a smidge of hesitation having not seen Risacher in such a setting.

Same-Game Parlay Leg No. 3: Alexandre Sarr To Score 15+ Points

The same logic with Risacher applies to Sarr, with this being the first time many basketball fans will see him in action.

There's a degree of mystery for how both prospects will fare, and Sarr has more professionally-seasoned players to compete with on Washington which may bite into his numbers.

Then again, like Risacher, the odds only really make sense at the 15-point mark, so we're hoping this matchup pays dividends with strong showcases for both players to complete this same-game parlay.
