Shai Gilgeous-Alexander OVER 5.5 Assists-148

Same-Game Parlay Pick No. 1: Kyrie Irving OVER 22.5 Points

Kyrie Irving's nine-point performance in Dallas' Game 2 victory was extremely uncharacteristic for a talent with his offensive prowess. He had gone the entire 2023-24 campaign without scoring in the single digits, and last finished with fewer than 10 points on Nov. 1, 2022 as a member of the Brooklyn Nets when he recorded four points in a loss to the Chicago Bulls.

Obviously Thursday's showing at the Paycom Center did a number on his statistics, but in five road playoff games, Irving is averaging only 19.4 points on 14.4 attempts as opposed to 30.3 points on just over 20 attempts at the American Airlines Center. Perhaps returning home is the shot in the arm he needs to get more shots in the air and through the mesh.

Irving totalled 70 points over his last two home postseason outings, and even though we've seen Dallas prevail with the eight-time All-Star at his worst, it would be better served with its second-best scorer actually scoring in Game 3.

Same-Game Parlay Pick No. 2: P.J. Washington OVER 6.5 Rebounds

P.J. Washington's 11 rebounds in Game 2 marked the first time this postseason he secured double-digit boards, with his previous high being seven in Game 1 against the Los Angeles Clippers. He's the second-leading rebounder on Dallas during this playoff run at 6.1 per game, which is marginally down from the 6.2 he averaged throughout the season, and that was only good enough for fourth on the Mavericks at the time.

With his rebounding prop set at 6.5, Washington will need to grab seven or more for just the third time in nine games. He saw the floor for just under 40 minutes in Game 2 as he was lights out shooting the rock with seven makes from behind the arc, covering for the aforementioned Irving's rough box score.

Washington will need another heavy dose of PT to nail this prop, but he's earned the trust of head coach Jason Kidd and is the Mavericks' No. 3 option until Tim Hardaway Jr. gets fully reintegrated.

Same-Game Parlay Pick No. 3: Shai Gilgeous-Alexander OVER 5.5 Assists

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander had only five games during the season in which he notched 10 or more assists, so you're walking a thin tightrope by betting an assist prop on the Most Valuable Player finalist when his scoring (one of three players to average at least 30 points in 2023-24) is his bread and butter.

He finished with nine dimes in Game 1 against Dallas and then followed that up with eight in Game 2, which are two of only three times Gilgeous-Alexander has reached the OVER on 5.5 assists during this six-game run.

The -148 odds as of Friday night don't paint the picture of the risk involved with this prop, as Gilgeous-Alexander also hit the UNDER on this number in two out of the four games versus the Mavericks during the season. With great risk comes great reward, though, as we look to finalize this SGP with some decent upside.
