Same-Game Parlay Pick No. 1: Karl-Anthony Towns UNDER 1.5 Made 3-Pointers

This leg truly accentuates this same-game parlay at plus money as we attempt to capitalize on some cold outside shooting from Karl-Anthony Towns.

The All-Star big man shot 4-of-19 (21 percent) from 3-point range over his last four outings against the Denver Nuggets in the second round after converting 13-of-25 (52 percent) in the four games prior. Towns was connecting on the OVER with 3-point props fairly regularly to jump start the postseason, but has come back down to Earth as of late.

He made at least two in three of Minnesota's four meetings with Dallas during the regular season, but as we've seen in recent weeks, the playoffs are a different beast with a fresh start for all parties. The Mavericks' bigs may deploy a similar strategy to that of Denver by leaving Rudy Gobert free to focus on the Timberwolves' top scorers like Towns, and the likes of Dereck Lively II and Daniel Gafford won't shy away from leaving the painted area to get out on the perimeter either.

Same-Game Parlay Pick No. 2: Naz Reid OVER 9.5 Points

By the skin of his teeth, newly-crowned Sixth Man of the Year Naz Reid has brought the profit on scoring props at 9.5 points by reaching the OVER in three of his last four appearances, if only just barely.

Game 6 against Denver was one of just two against the defending champions in which Reid attempted double-digit shots, so it's obviously difficult to register high-scoring lines with limited attempts. Reid can make the most out of little as he's only suited up for more than 23 minutes once this postseason, and that coincided with his highest scoring night with 16 points in Game 1 of the second round.

As loaded as the Mavericks are, they don't have a Nikola Jokic in their lineup which requires heavy usage out of Gobert on the defensive end. Reid's value is strengthened against such an opponent, and it's no coincidence that his third-highest scoring performance of 2023-24 came against Dallas on Dec. 14 either.

Same-Game Parlay Pick No. 3: Derrick Jones Jr. OVER 12.5 PTS + REB

It's fitting this leg pertains to Derrick Jones Jr., because it's as close to a slam dunk for the 2020 champion of the competition as you can get if his recent postseason play is any indicator.

Jones Jr. elevated his stock and then some versus the No. 1-seeded Oklahoma City Thunder as teammate Kyrie Irving took more of a backseat, with the 27-year-old wing averaging 12.8 points and 3.2 rebounds in that series. More importantly, as it pertains to his points and rebounds combination prop, Jones Jr. blew away the OVER on 12.5 in each of his last three games by finishing with 20 in Games 4 and 5 before maxing out in Game 6 with 26 (22 points and four boards).

His 40 minutes of action in the finale on Saturday in what was ultimately a one-point elimination victory demonstrates the faith head coach Jason Kidd has in Jones Jr., and that should transfer over against Minnesota as Dallas needs length and size to throw at Anthony Edwards and co.
