Same-Game Parlay Pick No. 1: Nikola Jokic To Record A triple-Double

Just like the two teams taking the hardwood on Sunday, we're going big or going home with this leg of the same-game parlay by projecting Nikola Jokic to register his third triple-double of the postseason in his most important game of the year.

The newly-crowned three-time Most Valuable Player recorded a pair of triple-doubles in the opening round against the Los Angeles Lakers, but has yet to do so once versus Minnesota. He's fallen an assist or two short on a couple of occasions, so he's been on the brink a few times without completing the line. Sunday marks the fourth Game 7 of his career and first since 2020, as well, with Jokic having two triple-doubles across those four outings.

It's been noted how intensely the near 7-footer stared down the opposition from Denver's bench as his team got decimated by 45 points at the Target Center on Thursday. It was the look of someone who flat-out refuses to allow a similar performance to occur again, so should the Nuggets lose in Game 7, it likely won't be due to any shortcomings by Jokic. His Game 5 numbers will be hard to beat, but Jokic has it in him.

Same-Game Parlay Pick No. 2: Jamal Murray UNDER 19.5 Points

Attempting to move around a high screen from Timberwolves center Rudy Gobert in Game 6, Jamal Murray injured his right elbow colliding with the big man and later admitted that it affected his rhythm throughout the remainder of the contest. Now he only shot 4-of-18 for the night and wasn't exactly lighting Minnesota on fire before his injury, but it's something to be aware of heading into Game 7 because it's hard to imagine it not affecting him in some capacity just days after the fact.

Nonetheless, Murray has only broken the 20-point mark once in this series and that was in Game 3 when everything went right for Denver in a 27-point victory, yet the 27-year-old shooting guard still only had 24 points to just get over the hump with a pair of buckets.

The prop being set at 19.5 points is oddsmakers believing Murray will once again rise to the occasion in the postseason and save his best stuff for last, but that latest injury of his on top of Minnesota's wings like Anthony Edwards and Jaden McDaniels keeping him in check provide enough doubt to think he'll have yet another low-scoring line by his standards.

Same-Game Parlay Pick No. 3: Anthony Edwards UNDER 5.5 Assists

We're getting respectable value out of the first two legs of this same-game parlay, and -155 for an Edwards assist prop isn't even that bad. He'll likely be putting up a ton of points in the series closer, but oddsmakers are even weary in that regard having him at plus money to hit the OVER on 28.5 points, which he's only done twice and not in either of his last two outings.

He'll need five or fewer dimes to connect on this leg, which mirrors his recent history with his points props because Edwards has only reached the OVER twice, although he did finish with nine in Game 5 during the Timberwolves' 15-point loss.

This game may require Edwards' takeover mode, embracing the Michael Jordan comparisons he so often receives by doing it himself Thanos style if his teammates underdeliver. That would therefore eat into his assist numbers as a result.
