Taking the above trends alongside some more in-depth handicapping, here are a few picks I'm focused on for today's men's college basketball games:
Houston's Milos Uzan OVER 2.5 Rebounds (-105 at Sportsbook)
Uzan has been a road warrior on the glass, going OVER 2.5 rebounds in seven of his last nine away contests.
Uzan and Houston face one of the worst rebounding teams in the country tonight, too. Arizona State ranks 294th of 364 NCAA basketball programs in opponent rebounds, allowing 37.0 per game. The Sun Devils have been out-rebounded by at least 10 boards in each of their last three contests.
San Diego State -18.5 (-115 at Sportsbook) vs Fresno State
Fresno State is on a disastrous slide right now. They’ve lost eight-straight games overall and 19-straight as an underdog. They’ve also failed to cover five-straight spreads on the road.
Even with a massive +18.5 number tonight, I don’t think the streak ends.
Fresno State has lost by over 20 points twice in their last five contests and six times this year. San Diego State is no stranger to blow-outs, either. The Aztecs have won four of their last 10 games by 15 or more.
