March is almost here, so let's lock in on some college basketball.
I've got a breakdown of some key college basketball betting trends for your game picks and player props today. I've compiled a bunch of player and team trends with help from Outlier, as well as a few NCAA picks below for February 24th:

Taking the above trends alongside some more in-depth handicapping, here are a few picks I'm focused on for today's men's college basketball games:
Texas Tech’s JT Toppin OVER 0.5 assists (-150 at Sportsbook)
JT Topping averages just 1.0 assists per game, but his OVER 0.5 has been a lock lately. He’s gone above that mark in four-straight games and six-straight home contests. He’s also just been on the court so much lately, averaging 30 minutes per contest in the last six games (well above his 25.4 average on the season), giving him plenty of opportunity to accidentally run into an assist.
One reason I think we’re getting this prop at such good value is because Houston’s defense is great at surpassing assists. The Cougars have allowed the 29th-fewest assists per game in college basketball this season (10.9). But, they’ve allowed at least four players to get an assist against them in each of the last four games.
UNC’s Seth Trimble UNDER 0.5 3PM (-121 at Sportsbook)
Trimble is on a horrible cold streak from deep. He hasn’t made a three pointer in his last four games (0/4 in those contests), and has made just two since January 25th (seven contests). He’s gone UNDER 0.5 3PM in six-straight road contests.
Trimble and UNC play a Florida State defense today that isn’t the best in the country at three-point defense, but they allow just 7.9 total 3PM per game. They’ve allow an average of 6.25 3PM against in the last four contests, too.
