Big 12, Pac-10 Betting Preview

College basketball bettors will be chomping at the bit to pick their early favorites in the Sportsbook rounds of the Big 12 and Pac-10 conference tournaments in  betting action on Wednesday.

Colorado (19-12 SU, 13-11 ATS) is a 4.5-point favorite at Sportsbook when they meet Iowa State (16-15 SU, 13-12 ATS) in an early Big 12 college hoops betting matchup. The Buffaloes have beaten the Buckeyes in two of the last three, but it was Iowa State who took last week’s meeting.

The Buckeyes might have a win this season over Colorado, but they are just 3-13 against conference teams. The NCAAB betting lines should reflect this as Colorado will get most of the attention among bettors for this matchup.

Seven of ten head-to-head games with these teams have sent UNDER bettors to the payout window.

Oklahoma will be 7.5-point underdogs when they meet the Baylor Bears (18-12 SU, 7-15 ATS) in Big 12 betting action later in the day Wednesday. The Sooners (13-17 SU, 10-13 ATS) defeated the Bears 73-66 in their last encounter, while the Bears won the earlier meeting this season.

It is the Sooners who own a better record head-to-head, but the Bears have won three of the last four. That should be enough data for bettors to translate into more wagers in favor of Baylor on the NCAAB betting lines at Sportsbook.

Seven of the last 10 matchups have made Sportsbooks of OVER bettors, and the teams could be destined for another offensive outburst.

Stanford (15-15 SU, 12-15 ATS) opens the Pac-10 conference tourney as a small 3.5-point favorite when they tip off with the Oregon State Beavers (10-19 SU, 9-12-1 ATS) in a late NCAAB betting matchup Wednesday.

Oregon State upset the Cardinal last time out as the teams split two regular-season matchups this year. Stanford has won three of the last four and is a good bet on the college hoops betting lines in this Sportsbook-round game. They might be a profitable wager on the pointspread, having covered in three of those four victories.

UNDER bettors have cashed out in a handsome way in seven of 10 head-to-head between the teams.

A late Pac-10 college betting matchup between Arizona State and Oregon is as tight as it gets with most sportsbooks listing this game as a pick’em.

The Sun Devils (12-18 SU, 10-17-1 ATS) have won six straight in this rivalry and should be the popular choice on the betting lines. Arizona State has won just four games against conference foes and that makes the Ducks' chances a little better for an upset.

Oregon (14-16 SU, 13-12 ATS) leads in many statistical categories and could be a good underdog possibility in this contest. One wager that is a little more predictable among these teams is totals betting - where the OVER bet has paid out in nine of 10 head-to-head.
