Big 12 Basketball Tournament Odds: Iowa State Rolls

Iowa State blew the doors off the top-seeded Houston Cougars to win the 2024 Big 12 Tournament Championship.

A cagey first half between two of the top defenses in college basketball produced just 53 total points. But Iowa State continually got good looks, while harassing Houston into bad shots and stretched their lead early in the second half.

The Cyclones knocked down nine three-pointers while holding the Cougars to just 26% shooting from the field. Iowa State led by as much as 30 late in the second and cruised to victory. T.J. Otzelberger's team have to be seen as a threat heading into the March Madness tournament. Iowa State's menacing defense has the makings of a National Championship contender.
