  • It’s been a roller-coaster of a season for Creighton but it has all led to the Big East finals against Villanova Saturday. If the Bluejays want to claim the conference crown they will finally need to beat a Wildcats teams they have not emerged victorious against since February 16, 2014. That is six consecutive defeats for Creighton at the hands of Villanova.

    Things got scary for Villanova in their semifinals contest against Seton Hall with the Wildcats entering halftime down seven points. Ultimately, ‘Nova took over in the second half but still needed a three-point play in the closing from Big East player of the year Josh Hart to close it out. There’s not much to say about Hart that hasn’t already been said, as the senior leads Villanova in points, rebounds and steals while sitting second in assists.
