Jayhawks on NCAAB betting

This Saturday marks one week until Christmas, but the holiday comes early for college basketball bettors as 18 of the Top 25 teams in the country take to the court. Here’s a look at three of the most exciting matchups on this busy day of college basketball.

USC Trojans at No. 3 Kansas Jayhawks, 12:00 PM ET

The Kansas Jayhawks will be favored to stay undefeated when they host the USC Trojans on Saturday at noon. Check Bovada for up to date betting odds.

Kansas is off to a great start this season at 9-0 SU (4-3 ATS), and will likely improve to 10-0 against USC. Interestingly, the Pac-10 has given Kansas some good games this season as the Jayhawks are 0-2 ATS in games against Arizona and UCLA. Kansas was a 17.5-point favorite at home against UCLA, but won in a nail-biter 77-76.

The Trojans (6-4 SU, 5-5 ATS) have lost both of their road games this season to Nebraska and TCU, but managed to cover as a 5-point underdog at Nebraska. USC picked up a big 73-56 win earlier this month at home over Texas as a 6-point underdog.

South Carolina Gamecocks at No. 2 Ohio State Buckeyes, 2:00 PM ET

Ohio State will also look to stay undefeated when they take on the South Carolina Gamecocks. To see how big of a favorite Ohio State is, look for current betting odds at Bovada.

The Buckeyes (9-0 SU, 3-4 ATS) have not fared well ATS as big favorites at home. While they are 2-0 ATS on the road, the Buckeyes are 1-4 ATS at home, and have been favored by at least 19.5 in all of their home games to this point. Their only cover came in an 81-41 drubbing of UNC Wilmington.

South Carolina has jumped out to a solid 7-1 SU start, backed by a solid defensive mentality. The Gamecocks are 3-0 ATS, managing to cover as 17-point underdogs in their 82-73 loss to Michigan State in November.

No. 6 Kansas State Wildcats vs. Florida Gators, 3:30 PM ET

While technically a “neutral location”, the BankAtlantic Center in Sunrise, Florida should have a strong following for the Gators. Check for current lines at 5Dimes.

Kansas State’s only loss this season came in a road game against Duke. The Wildcats (9-1 SU, 3-3 ATS) are 2-2 ATS on the road this season with wins and covers over Gonzaga and Washington State.

Florida (7-2 SU, 1-5 ATS) has fallen out of the Top 25, but could potentially reclaim their spot with a win over the Wildcats. The Gators’ only win ATS came in an outright upset of Florida State on the road as a 4-point underdog.
