LSU Ben Simmons

LSU Just Can’t Cover The Spread

LSU dropped their first game of the season Monday when they lost to Marquette, but they once again failed to cover, which if far from an abnormality. The Tigers are 0-4 ATS this season, despite a 3-1 SU record. LSU will try and bounce back Tuesday when they clash with NC State at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.

Shark Bites
  • Four NC State players are averaging 13.5 points or more per game this season.
  • Ben Simmons leads LSU in points, rebounds, blocks and is second in steals.
  • The OVER is 3-1 in NC State’s four games this season.

LSU did not want to lean too heavily on super prospect Ben Simmons coming into the season, but that has been exactly what has happened. The freshman is averaging a staggering 19.3 points, 14.5 rebounds and 5.3 assists through his first four career games.

NC State is a shell of the team that ousted LSU from March Madness last season, with three of the Wolfpack’s top four scorers gone this season.
