Shockers gun for MVC championship

The Wichita State Shockers will put their undefeated record on the line once again on Sunday as they take on Indiana State in the title game of the Missouri Valley Tournament.

Wichita State went 2-0 both SU and ATS against Indiana State during the regular season, beating them 68-48 as an 11-point home favorite and 65-58 as a 4-point road favorite. Both of those games turned out to be UNDER results for totals bettors.

This season, the Shockers are 32-0 overall and 22-6-1 ATS, while the Sycamores are 23-9 and 12-18 ATS. As for the totals, Wichita State boasts a 15-14 on the OU, and Indiana State is 13-14-1.

The power rankings show a disparity between these teams, with the Shockers rated this week at No. 2 and the Sycamores sitting at No. 213.



Indiana State was a 62-59 Sportsbook in its last match at home against Southern Illinois. They failed to cover the 4-point spread as favorites. The Sycamores grabbed a 62-59 win over the Salukis on Saturday, behind a 20-point effort from Jake Odum at Scottrade Center.
