UNC Will Try To Bounce Back From Wild Overtime Loss To Alabama

The Tar Heels were part of an instant classic on Sunday, trading blows with the Alabama Crimson Tide in a quadruple-overtime game that eventually went Alabama’s way 103-101. Armando Bacot picked up a double-double in the loss with 20 points and 10 rebounds while Caleb Love led the way in scoring with 34 points.

Since Sportsbook the season at 5-0 SU as the nation’s top-ranked team in the AP Top 25 poll, North Carolina is 0-2 SU over its last two games and has dropped to No. 18.

North Carolina’s two losses both came in the Phil Knight Invitational, as a 5.5-point favorite against the Iowa State Cyclones and as a 1.5-point underdog against the Crimson Tide. Even when the Tar Heels were winning, they weren’t covering the spread: they went 1-4 ATS during their five-game win streak and are now just 1-6 ATS through their first seven games.

Indiana Off To A Red-Hot Start In 2022-23

The Hoosiers cruised to an easy win and cover as 27.5-point favorites in a 90-51 win at home over the Jackson State Tigers last Friday night. Tamar Bates was the team’s top scorer, coming off the bench to go 4-for-6 from three-point range en route to a season-high 22 points. Indiana improved to 6-0 SU and 4-1-1 ATS with the victory.

Through their first six games, the Hoosiers rank seventh in the nation in scoring, averaging 88.8 points per game. Senior forward Trayce Jackson-Davis has led the way on offense, averaging 18.8 points per game while also racking up eight rebounds per game.

Indiana has won its first six games by an average of 29.5 points, though its one game so far against a strong opponent in the Xavier Musketeers was a competitive 81-79 win.

North Carolina: Keys to Win

North Carolina returned one of the nation’s most talented rosters led by Caleb Love, Armando Bacot and R.J. Davis. This group can beat anyone in the nation when it plays to its potential, but for whatever reason the Tar Heels are off to a sluggish start. They’ll need to get back in form to beat a team as good as the Hoosiers as a North Carolina vs Indiana prediction.

Indiana: Keys to Win

Indiana has scored at least 81 points in each of its first six games. North Carolina may be tired after Sunday’s marathon game, so putting up a bunch of points early and getting the home crowd into the game could be the path of least resistance for the Hoosiers to come away with a win as a North Carolina vs Indiana pick.
