Siena vs Sacred Heart 1st-Half Under 71.5

Make no mistake, Sacred Heart loves to push the pace. Only, they're not very good with putting the ball into the hoop once they get there. The Pioneers rank just 273rd in field goal percentage versus the average opponent, and are 295th in near-proximity buckets, such as layups and dunks.

Meanwhile, Siena is just 302nd in overall field goal percentage. Neither defense is particularly effective, but Siena carry the ball up the floor at an average D1 rate, and I don't expect them to want to get into a shootout with the Pioneers.

Siena won by 18 points when these teams met a month ago, so expect Sacred Heart to come into this one with a different gameplan. That will lead to early shooting variance, making our 1st-Half UNDER 71.5 points a fantastic start to our NCAAB parlay.

South Dakota State -6.5

South Dakota's game is built on pushing the pace. The Coyotes excel at creating extra possessions, sitting second in the nation in Haslametric's pace statistic. That leads to a ton of easy baskets in transition, ranking them 78th in points off of breakaway steals. Eric Peterson's squad is full of high-energy performers. However, the Coyotes struggle at shooting the basketball, especially from deep, where they rank 313th in three-point percentage versus the average opponent. This leads to an extremely high level of variance in their games.

Thus, we're backing the South Dakota State Jackrabbits, who've won seven of their last nine, including a 90-71 demolition of South Dakota. The Jackrabbits are 33rd in points per game (80.5) with a +6.1 average scoring margin. Additionally, South Dakota State's dominance on the glass makes this an easy play for me. The Jackrabbits rank a respectable 82nd in offensive rebounding percentage, and are fourth in defensive rebounding in D1 basketball. While the Coyotes are 154th on the offensive end, and 358th defensively.

Plus, South Dakota State holds a significant advantage in field-goal attempt rate, and shooting percentage from every level. The Jackrabbits are one of my favorite bets of the day.

Louisville -7.5

According to KenPom, Louisville will have a huge advantage in the four factors of effective field goal percentage, turnover percentage, offensive rebounding percentage, and free-throw attempt rate to defensive field goal attempt rate allowed over Notre Dame.

Moreover, the Cardinal hold a significant edge in defensive rating (97.7 to 105.8), and three-point attempt attempt percentage of total field goals. Notre Dame is a rugged basketball team. After all, the Fighting Irish have defeated the likes of no. 3 Houston, Creighton and North Carolina. They also gave no. 2 Duke a real go.

However, Micah Shrewsberry's team is no match for the offensive onslaught and stifling defense of the Cardinal. Louisville point guard Chucky Hepburn is one of the best players in the country, and he's more than capable of leading his team to victory in this one. Bet Louisville -7.5 as the final leg of our NCAAB parlay.
