Wednesday night's college basketball slate only has four ranked programs in action--and I'm placing bets in three of them. Below are three player props for February 12 featuring a pair of Kon Knueppel and Tamar Bates three-pointer bets, both carrying plus-money odds. All odds courtesy of Sportsbook.
Zachary Davis OVER 4.5 Rebounds Vs Ole Miss rebels (-135)
Preview: Ole Miss Rebels vs South Carolina Gamecocks, 7 p.m. ET
The Gamecocks haven't won a game in 2025. Yup, South Carolina is 0-10 SU, seven of which were blows from ranked programs. So, either the Gamecocks are aching to stop being the laughing stock of college basketball or the Rebels may let their foot off the gas pedal against this harmless team. Regardless, I'm calling for a low scoring game as the UNDER has hit in five straight meetings between these two, each total being lower than tonight's 138.5 point line.
Over at KenPom, each program’s defensive rating holds higher rank than their offensive efforts. But, there's one vulnerable area I'm capitalizing on. Ole Miss dwells in the nation's bottom 50 by allowing 37.8 total rebounds, worsening to 39.3 total rebounds in its last three.
Zachary Davis has cashed the OVER on 4.5 rebounds in five of his last six performances at Colonial Life Arena, averaging 5.2 rebounds per game. In his last meeting against Ole Miss, Davis snagged nine rebounds, which ended up being his season-high last year.
kon knueppel 3+ threes (+148) california golden bears
Preview: California Golden Bears vs Duke Blue Devils, 9 p.m. ET
I could play it safe here and take Knueppel OVER 1.5 three pointers, but the -160 odds don't entice me. Instead, I'm confident enough to play with his alt lines in the plus-money territory.
Duke, one of three teams that has a top 10 offensive and defensive KenPom rating, goes head-to-head with a defense that is graded 203rd in the KenPom ratings. All signs point to an embarrassment for California.
The Golden Bears cough up a 36.7 3PT%, crowning them as one of the worst perimeter protectors in college basketball. Knueppel has sunk at least three from beyond the arc in six of his last 10 appearances, averaging 2.8 three-pointers in that span.
Tamar Bates O 1.5 three Pointers (+100) vs oklahoma sooners
Preview: Oklahoma Sooners vs Missouri Tigers, 9 p.m. ET
Typically, Oklahoma is tough to drain some three-pointers against, allowing a 28.8 3PT% (ranked seventh). But, the Sooners have slipped in that department, suddenly allowing 32.9% across their last three and a whopping 42.9% in their most recent outing. That's what happens when you're forced to go up against Tennessee and Auburn in consecutive games.
Yet, Missouri's 37.5 3PT% (ranked 32nd) ranks better than both the esteemed Tennessee and Auburn programs. Tamar Bates has cashed the OVER on 1.5 three in six straight on his home court, averaging a reliable 2.5 three-pointers per game.
Going 0-5 SU in their five games against top-15 ranked schools or better, the Sooners still haven't proved to slow efficient opponents.
