Friday's college basketball schedule features programs getting ready for their final performance of the regular season. Below I've outlined two player props for March 7 featuring Kyan Evans to struggle against the glass and Dain Dainja to hit the OVER on their points and assists. All odds courtesy of Sportsbook.
Giving up just 28.8 rebounds per game, Boise State is the third-best defense against the glass in the nation. With Colorado State walking into ExtraMile Arena, where the Broncos allow even fewer (26.8) rebounds per game), the pressure is on for the Rams last game of the regular season.
Kyan Evans has hit the UNDER on 2.5 rebounds in five straight games vs. top 25 defenses for rebounds allowed—and now he's going up against one of the best.
The Memphis Tigers host the South Florida Bulls in their last game of the regular season. The Bulls give up a fair bit of points, allowing opponents 75.1 PPG to sit in the bottom half of college basketball scoring defenses. Assists wise, South Florida isn't much better—giving up 14.1 assists per game (ranked 247th).
Dain Dainja has exceeded 18.5 points + assists in five straight games at home, obliterating the line to average 23.4 points and assists per game in that span. In the senior's final campaign at FedExForum, expect him to go all out.
Oh, that's not all we got for you today. Mitch Bannon has thrown out his back digging up player and team trends for tonight's slate. He's even thrown in a pick for you to tail, too!
CSU’s Kyan Evans OVER 1.5 3PM (-105 at Sportsbook)
Evans is on a shooting hot streak, draining at least 1.5 3 pointers in nine of his last 10 games. The CSU guard is averaging 2.1 3PM per contest in that stretch.
Honestly, I don't get why this line is so low to begin with. Evans is averaging 1.7 made 3 pointers per game on efficient 40.9% shooting. Plus, he plays a Boise State defense that allows 6.6 made threes per game this year, and 7.3 per game in their last three.
