CBB Player Props Today: Fade Butler's McCaffrey

March Madness is just around the corner, but we've still got a solid slate of games on Wednesday.

Below I've outlined two player props for March 5th plus some trends for today's games to help your handicapping. All odds courtesy of Sportsbook.

Bangot Dak OVER 0.5 Blocks (-216)

Preview: Colorado vs Texas Tech, 8:00 p.m. ET

Bangot Dak is a block god. He's averaging 1.4 per game on the season and has gone OVER 0.5 blocks in 13 of his last 14 games. In that 14-game stretch, he's averaging two blocks per game (including posting eight in one contest). Texas Tech allows 2.6 blocks per game, so there should be a few opportunities for Dak to grab another swat tonight.

Patrick McCaffery UNDER 9.5 Points (-130)

Preview: Xavier vs Butler, 7:00 p.m. ET

Patrick McCaffrey has gone UNDER 9.5 points in five-straight games, averaging just 5.8 points per game in that stretch. The Butler forward averages 8.1 points per game on the season and is down to just 7.8 per game in the last 12.

I don't really get why this points OVER/UNDER is up at 9.5, especially as Xavier allows just 70.1 points per game (98th-fewest in the country). Xavier has been even better lately, allowing just 63.3 total points in their last three contests.
