February is almost finished, which means March Madness is rounding the corner. Thursday's college basketball schedule may not feature the household programs, but there's still profit to be found. Below I've outlined two player props for February 27 featuring Alex Merkviladze to continue his three-pointer streak while Kaleb Glenn's point and rebound odds are the steal of the night. All odds courtesy of Sportsbook.
Alex Merkviladze oVER 0.5 3PM Vs Saint Mary's Gaels (-140)
Preview: Saint Mary's Gaels vs Loyola Marymount Lions, 11:00 p.m. ET
Merkviladze popped off his last time on the court, dropping 21 points and going 4-for-6 from the distance, marking his second best three-pointer and scoring performance this season. The senior has sunk at least one three in five straight appearances at Gersten Pavilion, averaging two three-pointers in that span.
The Gaels are allowing opponents a 32.3 3PT% when on the road this season, which stands nobly inside the top 100 for perimeter defense. But, it's not impossible to overcome.
The Lions last played on Saturday, also in front of their home crowd. So, Merkviladze and his teammates are well-rested and ready to pick up one more home win in their last game of the regular season.
Kaleb Glenn oVER 16.5 points+Rebounds vs north texas mean green (-102)
Preview: North Texas Mean Green vs FAU Owls, 7:00 p.m. ET
These odds for this bet may just be the betting steal of the night. First things first, Glenn is dripping with consistency—recording double-digit points in 10 of his last 11 campaigns while simultaneously grabbing five or more rebounds in eight of those occasions.
The sophomore has hit the OVER on 16.5 points+rebounds in five straight outings. The lone exception was against South Florida in the opening of February. But, Glenn was one basket or rebound away to extending that into a 12 game streak for this bet.
North Texas does hold the second best scoring defense, allowing 59.3 PPG (I know, who would've thought?). But, don't be overly weary of that. Glenn met the Mean Green a month ago, where he pocketed 20 points and seven rebounds—while on the road, too.

February 27th College Basketball Trends & Pick
Michigan’s Danny Wolf UNDER 0.5 Steals (-120 at Sportsbook)
Michigan big man Danny Wolf just isn't forcing turnovers these days. He's gone UNDER 0.5 steals in seven-straight home games and has a steal in just two of his last six games, overall.
I also don't see many opportunities for Wolf steals against Rutgers tonight, specifically. Rutgers allows the 61st-fewest steals against in the nation, averaging just 5.8 per game. No squad has had more than eight steals against Rutgers in the last six games.
