Wednesday's college basketball schedule features teams full throttle playing in conference championship tournaments. Below I've outlined two player props and fantasy picks for March 12 featuring bets for Andrej Stojakovic, Devin Royal and others. All odds courtesy of Sportsbook.
Andrej Stojakovic UNDER 1.5 Assists (-160 at Sportsbook)
Despite the sophomore recording two or more assists in eight of his last 10 games, I'm fading him tonight. Since January, there is only one matchup which Stojakovic recorded no assists at all—a road meeting against Stanford. The Cardinal allow 10.1 assists per game, placing them inside the top 10 in the nation.
Devin Royal OVER 6.5 Rebounds (-150 at Sportsbook)
Royal is consistent in his rebounding, averaging 6.9 per game this season. Iowa is one of the worst teams in college basketball on the glass, allowing 37 total rebounds per game. When Royal went head-to-head with the Hawkeyes at the end of January, he managed a balanced performance of nine rebounds and 12 points. The only different this time around is there's more intent behind this conference tournament matchup.
Elliot Cadeau O14.5 Pts+Asts and Zaon Collins U22.5 Pts+Rebs+Asts at Sportsbook +300
I have full faith in Cadeau surpassing this points and assists combination. Last time the sophomore met Notre Dame, he etched six assists and 10 points on the scoresheet. The Irish give up 14.1 assists and 72.4 points per game, numbers that don't exactly place them anywhere noteworthy in the defensive standings. Then, I'm liking the UNDER on Colins combined performance of points, rebounds and assists. A number the sophomore has failed to hit in eight of his last 10 meetings.
Oh, that's not all we got for you today. Mitch Bannon has thrown out his back digging up player and team trends for tonight's slate. He's even thrown in a pick for you to tail, too!
KSU’s David N'Guessan (-750 at Sportsbook)
This may not be a sexy line, but it’s my lock of the conference tournaments. N’Guessan hasn’t hit a three-pointer since February 4th. He has just two attempts in his last 10 games (obviously missed them both). He’s made just six three pointers all season (32 games).
N’Guessan also plays a Baylor defense that’s allowed just 7.9 made threes per game. In the last three the Bears have let up just 5.3 3PM per game, as well.
