Harry Giles Could Finally Make Season Debut Monday

The Duke Blue Devils are 10-1 with a flawless 6-0 record in Durham and they have done so without their top recruit. After missing the first 11 games of the season following an arthroscopic surgery on his knee, Harry Giles is expected to make his much-anticipated college debut against Tennessee State on Monday.

Shark Bites
  • Tennessee State is winless in its previous nine games against the ACC.
  • The total has gone UNDER in 7 of Duke's last 9 games.
  • Duke is 2-7 ATS in its last 9 games at home against teams with winning records.

Even if Giles doesn’t end up playing or seeing much court time Monday, Duke will be in good hands, having outscored opponents by 23 points per game during an eight-game winning streak. Though Grayson Allen has been dealing with an array of injuries, he scored a career-high 34 points in Duke’s last game against UNLV. Jayson Tatum has also been a revelation, as the freshman has averaged 15 points and seven rebounds during his three games since entering the lineup following a foot injury.

Tennessee State opened the season 8-2 for the second consecutive year on the back of a defense that has held opponents to 64.2 points per game. Senior Wayne Martin has been the heart and soul of the Tigers, with the forward averaging 12.6 points and 10.2 rebounds this season.
