The second-seeded Arizona Wildcats are back in the NCAA Tournament as they play the 15th-seeded Texas Southern Tigers after earning the top seed there a year ago. Zona was favored by 23 points earlier in the week at [custom:bodog-link].
The Wildcats did just about everything they could to snag the No. 1 seed in the West again, winning 11 straight and going 9-2 against the spread down the stretch, capped by an easy victory in the Pac-12 Tournament title game.
Arizona got bumped to the No. 2 because the Wisconsin Badgers are viewed as a slightly better team, and their seeds are reversed from last season. The Wildcats hope the results are eventually reversed as well since the Badgers beat them in the West Regional Final. They are coming off an 80-52 rout of the Oregon Ducks as 12.5-point favorites on the odds to win the Pac-12 Tournament championship.

Texas Southern is making its second straight NCAA Tournament appearance, losing in the First Four last year to Cal Poly 81-69 as a 3.5-point underdog. Like Arizona, the Tigers are also riding an 11-game winning streak, with the latest victory coming in the SWAC Tournament title game 62-58 against the Southern Jaguars as 6-point favorites.
