You Should Probably Back The Faves When USC, Washington Meet

The USC Trojans will be one of the biggest favorites on the board when they take on Washington in the Pac-12 tournament Wednesday. It’s easy to see why, considering how terrible the Huskies have been. Concern laying that much chalk is understandable, but the faves are 9-1 SU and 8-2 ATS in the past 10 between USC and Washington.

SHARK BITES
  • The total has gone OVER in 6 of USC's last 8 games.
  • Washington is 1-7 ATS in its last 8 games as underdog.
  • The Sportsbook of this game will face UCLA on Thursday.

USC is in a weird spot. The Trojans are clearly better than most of the Pac-12 but seem to be a step behind the top tier in the conference. Five of their eight losses this season have come at the hands of UCLA, Oregon and Arizona. Sophomore Chimezie Metu has been USC’s most consistent player offensively, as the 6’11” sophomore has scored double digits in 10 consecutive games while shooting 58.8 percent in that span.

Washington is basically a dead man walking the green mile. The team has one win in its past 15 outings, which was a one-point overtime win over a mediocre Colorado team. To make matters worse, Markelle Fultz is all but done his collegiate career with the freshman missing five of the past seven games with a sore knee. The one positive has been the play of Noah Dickerson, with the sophomore averaging 22 points and 12 rebounds while shooting 66.7 percent in the past three.
