  • According to most, Arizona is on a collision course with Gonzaga in the Elite Eight. If the past is any indication, then maybe folks are right to believe that.     Arizona’s multitude of offensive weapons makes the Wildcats one of the most difficult matchups in the NCAAB tournament. You simply can’t guard Allonzo Trier, Lauri Markkanen, Rawle Alkins and Dusan Ristic. However, the Wildcats have started incredibly slowly during both their games in March Madness so far – they were down 10 points to Saint Mary’s and let North Dakota hang around way too long.

    Xavier has gotten this far in the tournament for numerous reasons, but nobody has been more important than Trevon Bluiett. The junior has averaged 25 ppg and has shot 53.3 percent from deep while playing excellent defense during the tourney. The key will remain the play of freshman guard Quentin Goodin.
