Biggest College Football Line Moves

A major change in the college football point spread can indicate many things.
Dumb bettors putting too much money on the wrong team, an injury, a suspension and bad opening line by the sportsbook.
Whatever the cause of a big line move, it’s something NCAA football bettors MUST pay attention to if they want to be successful this season.
Here are the four biggest line moves of the week as of Friday.
Central Michigan @ Kentucky (from -13.5 to -10 at 5Dimes) – Matchup Report
Kentucky didn’t look very good against Western Kentucky. Still the line opened at -13.5 for the Wildcats against visiting Central Michigan. But the Chippewas gave up less than 140 total yards against South Carolina State and bettors have been trending towards them in this one.
Cal @ Colorado (from -3.5 to -7) – Matchup Report
The Buffaloes move to the Pac 12 and get very little love from bettors in hosting Cal. The line opened with them a home underdog of 3.5 points and now has them +7 at Bovada. They met last year and the Bears won 54-7. Maybe oddsmakers expect more of the same.
Nevada @ Oregon (from -22.5 to -27 at Bovada - Matchup Report
The Ducks lost the national final a year ago and were handled by LSU in Week 1. Two straight losses to SEC schools has them licking their chops at a chance to pound Nevada. The line opened at 22.5 points and is now 27. Bettors are still backing the Ducks against the WolfPack (in their season opener).
Stanford @ Duke (from -17.5 to -21.5) – Matchup Report
The Cardinal covered 30 points last week in hammering San Diego State, while the Blue Devils lost to Division II Richmond. Small wonder the line has been crawling upwards as more bettors predict a Stanford rout. Stanford is 6-0-1 ATS in its past 7 games overall and 6-1-1 in its past 8 road games.
