Coming off a deflating upset loss at home to Central Florida that will probably dash any hopes of crashing the BCS party 6-1 Louisville looks to pick up the pieces when it visits 2-4 South Florida for Homecoming in Tampa Saturday afternoon (noon ET, ESPN).

The Cardinals were working on a big-time bowl bid with their 6-0 start, but blew a 28-7 third-quarter lead and lost at home to UCF last Friday. The 'Ville has also lost three games in a row ATS.

The Bulls, meanwhile, after an 0-4 start, have won two in a row, most recently beating Connecticut 13-10 two weeks ago.

In the early betting the Cardinals, who have won the last two games in this series, although both were close contests, were favored by 20 points over South Florida.

Supporters of the Cardinals have seen them go 6-1 and 3-4 ATS so far this season, while the Bulls are at 2-4 and 3-3 ATS. In totals betting, the Bulls are 2-4, while the Cardinals are 2-5.
