The Tigers still possess a championship-caliber defense, but the offense is going to have to play a lot better if Clemson hopes to survive the rest of its schedule without another loss.

Devin Leary went 23-for-29 with 259 passing yards and three passing touchdowns in NC State’s 45-7 win over the Furman Paladins on Saturday. The Wolfpack have a pair of blowout wins this season, including their season-Sportsbook 45-0 victory over the South Florida Bulls, to go along with a 24-10 loss as small favorites at home against the Mississippi State Bulldogs.

Dating back to last season, the Wolfpack are now 5-2 SU and 4-3 ATS over their last seven games. North Carolina State has been blown out 55-10 and 41-7 in its last two games against the Tigers since losing its previous two matchups against Clemson by just a touchdown each. Clemson’s struggles on offense this season could help the Wolfpack keep Saturday’s game more competitive.
