College Football Betting Updates: Week 5 2012 Season

Welcome to your Saturday morning college football headquarters, where we'll have live updates up until the noon kickoffs. Some helpful links to get you started:

10:02 a.m.: Early kickoff in Pittsburgh, where the Panthers host first-place Louisville at 11 a.m. ET. Pittsburgh is 5-2 against the spread in the last seven meetings against Louisville. But the Cardinals are 2.5-point favorites. 
10:10 a.m.: It's raining heavily in East Lansing, Mich., where Michigan State is a 7.5-point favorites vs. Iowa. Rain is expected to end early in the afternoon, but will be followed by increased winds up to 15-20 mph.
10:25 a.m: Rain is expected to develop in Aimes, Iowa, by 11 a.m. Iowa State hosts Kansas State (-6, 48). This line is all over the board with Sportsbook offering KSU -5.5 and Sportsbook offering -7. Kansas State is 4-1 SU in its last five against Iowa State, but only 1-4 against the spread vs. the Cyclones. 
10:39 a.m.: Wisconsin is 8-4 ATS vs. Purdue in theirlast 12 meetings. Between games, make sure to check out the OddsShark.com database for more head-to-head and vs-the-spread breakdowns. It's simple to use.
10:50 a.m.: With a solid slate of noon kickoffs, it's a busy day Sportsbook. Seventy percent of the action was on South Carolina +3 at LSU in the day's marquee game. There are plenty of 2.5s available, so it could pay to shop around. 
Something to consider: Les Miles is 23-34-4 against the spread in SEC play.
11: a.m.: The same weather system that will impact games in Aimes and East Lansing could cause problems with Oklahoma State's passing game in Lawrence, Kan. It's been raining throughout the morning. Rain will start to decrease toward the 3:30 p.m. kickoff, but winds are expected to increase with 20 mph gusts. 
11:08 a.m.: Kirk Ferentz lined bettors pockets for years, but this is not the best of days for Iowa football. The Hawkeyes are 1-9 ATS in their last 10 road games. More trends and stats can be found here.
11:15 a.m.: Army, a small home underdog to Kent State, is 7-13 ATS vs. MAC teams since 2005. 
11:22 a.m.: Northwestern is a 3-point favorite at Minnasota. The Wildcats are just 6-14 ATS in their last 20 as a favorite.
11:32 a.m.:  Social media reports banged-up Duke QB Sean Renfree is warming up. He is expected to start against Virginia Tech. The Hokies are 9.5-point favorites.

11:45 a.m.: In one of the biggest moves of the week, Ole Miss went from a 1-point favorite to a 6-point favorite vs. reeling Auburn. The Tigers are 1-5 ATS in their last six as an underdog.
11:55 a.m.: Heading into the noon kickoffs, the No. 1 consensus bet among OddsShark.com handicappers is Alabama -21.5 at Missouri. The Crimson Tide are receiving 69.6 percent of the support.
There are five totals receiving more than 70 percent of the support, and all are OVERS: Illinois-Michigan Over 48 (72.6%), Idaho at Texas State Over 54 (71.2%), Western Michigan-Ball State Over 66 (70.6%). Complete list.
