College Football Week 1 Opening Lines

The top two schools in the rankings are both big favorites in neutral site games on the college football odds for Week 1 as the season gets underway, with Florida State and Alabama both looking to get going with a dominant victory.

Jameis Winston and the top-ranked Seminoles will begin the defense of their national championship at AT&T Stadium in Arlington on Saturday night against Oklahoma State, and the college football betting lines at Sportsbook early in the week had Florida State pegged as a 17.5-point favorite for the contest.

The college football betting trends reveal that Florida State has gone 6-1 ATS in its past seven games, while Oklahoma State is 6-2 ATS in its past eight games. The OVER/UNDER is also 10-4 in Florida State's 14 most recent outings.

The second-ranked Alabama Crimson Tide are also in action at a neutral site on Saturday, as they take on West Virginia in a 3:30pm ET kickoff at the Georgia Dome as 26-point favorites on the college football Week 1 odds at Sportsbook. The Mountaineers ended last season on a poor ATS run, going 1-6 ATS in their last seven outings.
