The Wake Forest Demon Deacons will hit the gridiron on Saturday night for the last time this season, pegged as heavy 19-point underdogs at Sportsbook in their Rivalry Week matchup with the Duke Blue Devils.
With a 3-8 SU record, WFU’s bowl eligibility hopes faded weeks ago. But the Demon Deacons are coming off their first SU win in their last seven, outlasting Virginia Tech in double overtime, winning 6-3 as 13.5-point underdogs in the first Bowl Subdivision game to end regulation scoreless since 2005.
The win was also WFU’s third ATS win in their last four, moving them to 6-5 ATS on the season.
