College Football Week 3 Opening Lines

After dismantling Michigan over the weekend in a 31-0 whitewash the Notre Dame Fighting Irish have opened as big favorites on the college football odds for their game against Purdue at Lucas Oil Stadium on Saturday.

The Fighting Irish were opened as 28-point favorites against the Boilermakers for this weekend, after they moved up the rankings last week with their easy win over the Wolverines. Purdue was beaten 38-17 by Central Michigan in their Week 2 contest.

USC is on the road at Boston College as a 19.5-point favorite, while Oregon will play host to Wyoming as a big 44-point favorite on the Sportsbook lines, and Stanford sits as a 29.5-point favorite against Army.

In the week's ranked matchup No. 24 South Carolina is set as a 6-point home underdog on the Sportsbook odds at Sportsbook against No. 6 Georgia. The Gamecocks slipped from No. 21 in the rankings after picking up an underwhelming 33-23 win over East Carolina in Week 2.

Elsewhere, Ohio State opened as a 29.5-point favorite at home against Kent State for Saturday, while Virginia Tech opened as a 10.5-point favorite at home against East Carolina after they upset the Buckeyes over the weekend. Texas A&M opened as a 31-point favorite at home against Rice; the Aggies have scored 125 points through two weeks.
