Crimson Tide visit Kentucky in Week 7 battle

Alabama Crimson TideKentucky Wildcats

No. 1 Alabama beat up on another inferior opponent last week, but once again couldn't – or declined to – cover a big spread.

The Tide are now 1-6 ATS the last seven times they've been favored by 30 points or more. 'Bama isn't favored by that much this week, but it's close, heading into its game in Lexington Saturday evening against 1-4 Kentucky (7 pm ET, ESPN2).

Alabama, which has allowed a total of nine points over its last three games, was an early 27-point favorite over the Wildcats, who just picked up a back-door cover as 21-point dogs against South Carolina.

The Crimson Tide will try to spoil to the party on Saturday; they are 2-3 ATS against the number this season, while the Wildcats are 2-3 ATS. Alabama is 2-3 on the totals; Kentucky is 2-3.
