The Music City Bowl features the Iowa Hawkeyes clashing with the Missouri Tigers, eaching failing to hit double-digits in the win column. FanDuel is offering the Tigers as 2.5-point favorites in Nashville, Tennessee. The total is set at 40.5-points, one of the lowest totals of the remaining bowl season schedule.
Both Iowa and Missouri went 3-1 SU in its final four outings of the regular season. However, only the Tigers enter this matchup ranked, finishing as No. 19 in the AP Poll. Meanwhile, the Hawkeyes will be without one of the best running backs in the nation.

Iowa vs Missouri Picks – Music City Bowl
Comparing their last outings, Missouri is holding strong while Iowa is severely lacking. the Hawkeyes barely edged the Nebraska Cornhuskers in Week 14, 13-10. Uglier than the score is Iowa's effort, recording just 164 yards and going 0-for-10 on third downs. Not to mention, the Hawkeyes are 0-8 ATS as an underdog against top 25 ranked groups.
Missouri's job on the field got a heck of a lot easier with the news of Kaleb Johnson declaring for the NFL (which I'll get into more down below). The Tigers have covered the spread in six of their last seven and haven't been riddled too badly by the transfer portal. Eli Drinkwitz's bench has nobly averaged 32.3 points across their last three meetings and while they've allowed 20-points or more in their last five games -- the Hawkeyes offense just isn't as threatening.
At this low of a spread, I'm more than confident Missouri can take this game by at least a field goal.
Iowa vs Missouri Pick: Missouri -2.5 (-122)

Iowa vs Missouri News
Kaleb Johnson, Iowa's and the Big Ten's rushing leader, has opted out of the Music City Bowl to prepare for the upcoming NFL Draft. The junior had one more year of eligibility but instead decided to declare for the big leagues. His 1,537 rushing yards ranked sixth in the nation, while leading his conference, and his 23 total touchdowns marked a new school-record.
