    Sportsbook Odds Analysis

    The Gators have received steady betting action since Sportsbook as 21-point favorites, moving the line up to Florida -23.5. The total has also moved slightly from its opener at 57.5 points as bets on the OVER have pushed it up to 58 points. Kentucky is 3-0 ATS in its last three games against Florida since going 1-9 ATS in its previous 10 against the Gators.

    The Wildcats had no answers for the Alabama Crimson Tide on either side of the ball on Saturday as Alabama rolled to a 63-3 blowout win. Kentucky’s defense allowed only 10.8 points per game over a 2-2 SU and 3-1 ATS stretch in October, but so far in November, the Wildcats have yielded 35 points in a narrow win over the Vanderbilt Commodores and 63 points to the Crimson Tide.

    Kentucky’s offense has been wildly inconsistent. While it has produced some strong efforts, with 34 points against Tennessee, 38 points against Vanderbilt and 41 points against Ole Miss, it has also been held to 13 or fewer points four times.

    The Wildcats badly missed starting running back Chris Rodriguez Jr. against Alabama and could be without him again Saturday as he is currently listed as questionable with COVID-19 restrictions.

    Kyle Trask failed to throw four touchdown passes for the first time all season in Florida’s 38-17 win over Vanderbilt. He settled for “only” three touchdown passes and 383 passing yards on the day, bringing his season totals to 2,554 passing yards, 31 passing touchdowns and only three interceptions.

    Florida’s offense has been sensational all season long, ranking ninth in the nation in total yards with 522.3 per game and eighth in scoring with 44.7 points per game. The Crimson Tide are one of the seven teams outscoring the Gators this season with 49.4 points per game.

    A potential Heisman-deciding showdown between Trask and Alabama’s Mac Jones looms large in the SEC championship game, but for now, both teams will have to settle for navigating through the last few games of their respective regular seasons.

    Florida’s games have produced an average of 72.9 points this season en route to a 5-2 record on the OVER. It’s possible Kentucky has a great day on defense and a bad day on offense, but it’s more likely that the Gators just win in another shootout.
